Willie is an arts technology entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY. He is a husband and dog-father, and is principal and owner of Park Boulevard Productions and Park Boulevard West. In addition, he is Director of Performance Technology for the Center for Innovation in the Arts; Associate Director for Beyond the Machine and adjunct faculty at The Juilliard School; an adjunct professor in the Tonmeister Honors Track at New York University; and a guest lecturer in performance technology design, lecturing at NYU Abu Dhabi, the Atlantic Music Festival, Long Island University, and Queens Community College. His client list includes a plethora of Fortune 500 companies, prestigious museums and institutions, elite restaurant and hospitality groups, individuals, and startups. Projects include performance technology design for Basetrack Live (En Garde Arts) which was hailed as one of the “Top 10 Theatrical Events of 2014″ by Charles Isherwood (New York Times); a reimagination of Radio Music (by John Cage) for internet radio and twitter; co-designing interactive audio and visual systems for playing air guitar in The Airband (with Langdon C. Crawford); creating 3D sound design for Royal Soundscapes (Morrow Sound, Denmark); and record/mix engineering for film and music including the award-winning Monica & David (documentary by Alexandra Codina), Graceland (feature film by Ron Morales) and Baby Beau Blue (album by A.J. Shanti). He holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and in his spare time enjoys biking, playing Racquetball, and camping his way through the wine regions of the world with his wife, Rachel.
Kevin has been with Park Boulevard since 2010, assuming the role of Senior Technician in 2015 and Director of Technology in 2016. He has a deep fascination with making complicated things work, which has led him to work on some very bizarre and interesting projects surrounding how people interact with technology. A graduate of New York University’s Music Technology program, Kevin is an experienced audio, video, and lighting engineer who has worked at a number of live performance venues and studios including Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center, and has recorded or worked on the crew for artists such as Ben Folds, Manchester Orchestra, John Oates, Paul McCartney, Ne-Yo, and John Legend. Kevin is also an active composer, whose music can most notably be heard in the best-selling XBox indie games Zombie Estate and Zombie Estate 2. When he has free time, he prefers to spend it with his wife and cat, going on a hike, exploring the city, or simply sitting at home watching TV or reading a good book.
A New Jersey native, Nick is a recording engineer, live sound engineer, A/V technician, musician, and outdoorsman. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from NYU where he specialized in music technology. Since 2006, Nick has been engineering live shows and events at a gamut of NYC venues－from The New York Public Library and Lincoln Center to private art houses and Brooklyn loft parties. When not working with Park Boulevard, Nick can be found behind a drum set, at a recording studio in Brooklyn, on a hike, at the beach, or watching baseball or football.
Philly-born and raised, Tom studied music and psychology at Columbia while simultaneously working as a lead technician at the university’s main event space, Lerner Hall. Since then he has overseen myriad events such as limited-run screenings of archival 35mm prints at cinemas throughout NYC, high-profile New York Fashion Week shows, and large corporate and scientific conferences. Tom is also a master Pro Tools jockey: his mixing, sound design, recording, and Foley work has been featured in numerous award-winning ads, short films, and television shows. As a LEED Green Associate, he maintains a high priority for good environmental practices in his work. In his spare time, you can often find him climbing the Gunks in nearby New Paltz, NY, geeking out about urban design, or practicing his linguistic skills by watching Danish, Polish, and Spanish soap operas.
A graduate of the S.A.E Institute of Technology, Eric is an AV technician, recording engineer, and musician born and raised in Northwest Connecticut. With an attentive eye for detail from the moment an order is placed until the last piece of equipment is safely returned, Eric owns the logistics ecosystem. His background in public relations naturally makes him a catalyst, executing every action and event with poise and professionalism. He has worked with such clients as Adobe, Interactive TV Today, Major League Baseball, and The New York Public Library. Any day off the job, you can find Eric documenting his down time with a 35mm camera, recording an addictive melody, searching for the perfect bite of food, or enjoying fresh snowfall on the mountainside.
Raised near Hartford, CT with English and Irish Catholic roots, Collin is a chronic learner with a BA in Music from the University of Notre Dame and a MM in Music Technology from NYU. By trade, he is an audio engineer with recording and mixing experience in a variety of artistic environments throughout NYC, including performance venues, public spaces, film sets and recording studios. Besides on-site technical expertise, Collin is an adept musician and programmer, having performed a wide range of music while being skilled in digital audio synthesis and processing. By leisure, he can be found playing an instrument, reading, biking, or watching anything from the sky to animated TV to sporting events of the EPL and NBA.
